Renovation

The window shutters are fitted with a security bar on the inside.
This is easily opened with the small key shown in the picture.

The key is kept in a small key basket in the lower part of the large blue cupboard in the store room.

In the two bedrooms with french windows, the shutters have a special catch to hold them open.

The black telescopic arm is pulled out and put round the shutter frame - as shown in the picture below.

Even if this sounds a little complicated to read, when you are there it is completely clear.
