Whale watching

This part of the Mediterranean has recently been declared the International Nature Reserve of the Ligurian Sea.

Dolphins, sea turtles and whales (including sperm and fin whales) are regularly seen here.

The Whale Watch website offers information about the marine fauna as well as the boat trips which leave the harbour in Porto Maurizio most days.
